U2-UFO Video build

Great video w3bbo, btw just it was me who added you as a friend =)

i will hopefully get one of these after a new graphics card, hopefully a nice 55nm 2900pro in crossfire ^_^.

Thx for your kind comments.

To those who have mailed me from here (saves answering the same Q's over and over again ;):

Did you have to import any parts?

No, all of the kit was purchased from within the UK.

Where did you get those fans. Nice mod with the blue L.E.D's. They're Schweet :)

The fans are D12SL Yate loon fans. You can buy them with the leds already in, so no I didn't mod the fans.

What coolant did you use for the blue and green?

The green dye I used is Feser green UV. The blue is PT-Nuke and a little alphacool clear blue UV iirc.

OMG! Fantastic build but how noisy is it with all those fans?

No its not noisy, far from it. Its probably the quietest pc I've ever had! All the fans are either on a controller or are modded to 7v. They are also very quiet at 12v so when they are running at 7v they are nearly inaudible.

Hope this helps.

Jeez I thought this thread died a while back. I've made a few changes recently so I guess I should update with a few pics. I'll try and get some done later. Thx for comments.

how do webbo.what are you using to cool your ram,and have you got the 120.2 rad running your cards or the cpu.got the same case as you and will be putting in second loop soon.
thanks
andy
ps case looks great.

Just got my U2-UFO (With original top) today:),are you guys using any sort of fan filters on your intakes? and is it best to have the roof fans as intakes or exhausts?

Well its changed a bit since then.

Ram is watercooled (9200 Flex) and motherboard is an Asus blitz with a Q6600 (both watercooled).

Loop 1 CPU + NB
Loop 2 GPU + Memory

That's the 4th time I've viewed that vid and I'm still speechless.
I think an R B Systems and w3bbo joint project should be on the cards!! Now that would be awesome!!!

Nice work anyways

Have them as intakes mate that way they will cool the motherboard parts,or have one intake and one out,the 120mm on the motherboard tray should take any heat out of the rear of the case.

Only just watched the vid :p (came across it from one of your posts IIR) but yeah very impressed  Makes my p182 look well boring :D

I went from a P180 to the UFO so yeah, they are totally different:D

I've just started my new build now which again is based around the UFO but will be a little less 'bright' this time around.
