Ubuntu 18.10 - New Default Theme

    At least Ubuntu has desktop icons. In Fedora they have removed the ability to save anything to the desktop. :confused:

    Supposedly it's a Gnome thing that will come to all distributions eventually.

    They might put it back but for now, no desktop icons or saving anything to desktop.

    From the screenshots I quite like it. With regards desktop icons in Fedora I think you can add them back with Gnome Tweak.

    I have been using Ubuntu Mate which I find much nicer, also enabled plank as its installed but not running by default.

    Gnome and no desktop icons is great. I love it now I got used to it.

    Indeed, its also nice having almost everything I need available straight from the software centres.
