can anyone give me a step by step guide of how to set-up RAID 0 on the GA-X58-UD5?
The manual explains how to using the Gsata raid, but I want to use the Intel RAID.

Basically This - except if installing Vista/Windows 7 you don't need a floppy as the drivers are supplied "out of box" or you can down load the latest Intel drivers from the Intel website and install them from a USB flash drive and as soon as Desktop appears immediately after install process has finished install Chipset software Installation Utility 9.1.1.1014 WHQL and Intel Matrix Storaage Manager 8.9.0.1023, this install will also update the ICHxR drivers...

pictures in the guide lok almost identical to what I remember the bios and setup looking like, good advice from the guy above me, follow it

You need to set up the RAID array before installing windows, the drivers which Windows requires to access the array are on the Windows CD, hence "out of the box".
