UEFA Champions and Europa League Play-offs

Credit to Gomel. They pressed us and we looked very lazy with our passing at times. Carra is beginning to look like a real liability, which is a shame.
 
Pretty strong line-up from Liverpool tonight: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Lucas, Shelvey, Gerrard, Downing, Borini and Suarez.

It will be interesting to see where Suarez and Borini play.

Pretty obvious he hasn't played because he doesn't feature in our plans and we don't want him to get injured. Unfortunately that also means Bottler's probably staying :(

Looking forward to seeing Borini play in a strong team. Got little support in the first leg but made some good runs. Hopefully get on the score sheet and gain some confidence before the start of our league winning campaign.
 
If 'Pool can get the form back out of Enrique and replace Downing with a very good winger then that's a pretty good side. Obviously the squad is weak and Shelvey still is pretty inexperienced. That team should give any other PL side a good game (or should do).

First time Agger, Lucas, Gerrard and Suarez have played in the same team for over a year and a half apparently :eek:

Unfortunately we're probably further away from United, Chelsea and City going in to this season than we've ever been :(
