That ultimately should have been 4-1 for United. Mount missed two and we wasted 3 breakaways. That's the footballing intelligence of these players.
Three points but far from the full story.

Will be interesting to see who of this lot starts on Sunday.
Onana, Mazraoui, De Lgt and Martinez probably
Fernandes, Amad, Hojlund

Dalot was terrible at wing back. He barely did anything. Rashford - sigh. Zikzee - double sigh. I'd drop both of those for the poor body language.
Can't say I'm looking forward to playing City.

Zirkzee would look fine in a well oiled team that is in a league where the team he plays in dominates possession. Problem is, he plays for us and he looks like hes playing at half speed

Rashford looks absolutely finished. His first touch today, guy couldnt trap a bag of sand

At least we are in the top 8 with 2 more games to go. I think 4 points should see us qualify in the top 8.
Amorin is going to need to find a starting XI pretty fast, because against any team that's not utter garbage, we can't spend 60 minutes running around like it's a training game where everyone is trying to figure out where they are supposed to be.

He is going to struggle then because most of our players IQ is worse than my 5 year old kid.

Not good when theres no big transfer budget apparently, I guess to be expected after years of rubbish recruitment

You don't need a massive transfer budget to bring in decent players. You won't get top class but you can get good players and upgrade over time.

Hes said its going to be painful at times. He knows his best XI already I imagine but he seems to want to rest players, train them and then play them. There is no point in having a completely different team out each week so he is rotating through groups of players to try and get them up to speed.

I think this season has to be largely a write off. If we get into Europe, great. If we don't then so be it. A year not playing more than one game a week might not be the worst thing.
