I thought he was out injured he missed the game the other day didn't he, or was that suspension.
No, he played most of it. It's Gordon who's suspended.
He only missed the Liverpool game and that was because we wouldn't let him play as the deal is done. We will let him though Sunday
Is there a goals per corner taken somewhere you can view for the league? I'm sure we have relatively high goals scored but our conversion rate must be near the bottom
Champions league don't think is one thing is good going out in and league is pretty much wrapped up
Going through or not still played extra time you getting the same rest anyway before league cup final

Thought PSG were the better side over both legs but there were a few unbelievable defensive blocks throughout and their goal came with a bit of good fortune as well.
Could have been a different outcome in the 90 and especially when penalties is the thing that decides it. Think much of the disappointment is how much the competition would have opened up after getting through.

I was trying to be funny as its a downer we lost.
Our record from corners and set-plays in general hasn't been good for the past couple of seasons but despite not scoring, I thought we looked a lot more dangerous from them today. Their keeper done well a number of times to come out punch a few clear under big pressure but we had a number half chances to score too.
Not saying it because we are out but I think they need to do something better in regards to the knockout rounds and who faces who. Can see next year teams not bothering in the final few group games if there's no advantage in finishing high in the table.
I think Slot may have even done it against PSV and only a late goal against Barca stopped them being top.

I'm not sure there's a whole lot that can be done. The way in which the League phase is played, with everybody facing the same quality opposition (in theory), you're going to end up with strong sides finishing low down the table. The only possible change that could be made would be for the lowest ranked side (by coefficient rather than league position) who comes through the play-offs then faces the side that finished first, second lowest ranked side faces the second placed side and so on. I suspect they want to avoid that sort of seeding though.
I would use a seeded system all the way through the knockouts, and the playoff. Just the highest ranked league position vs the lowest. Just easy and simple.
PSG finished 15th, that form would have seen them in 2nd at least in previous seasons and would still have matched with a team that won their group.

That would still have the potential for a side finishing 1st to end up with the hardest round of 16 match though. The League phase is going to continue to result in top sides finishing near the bottom of the table. We were just unfortunate this time, another season we might benefit from this.
I see where you are coming from with that but there just isn't any point finishing as high as you can (in the top 8) bar the money for winning games.
Also don't like how they draw the other rounds too at the same time
Course there is, less chance of facing a bigger team and missing a whole round of games.
