I mean there was a time where it was significantly closer, probably when Celtic got to the UEFA cup final and had Henrik. Obviously the gap grows as Scottish football has gotten worse and more money in English game than anywhere

Seemed a lot more prestigious with 'bigger' teams taking it more seriously back then, to me anyway in the late 90s/early 2000s.

May be wrong but that would have been middish table from that era but they were significantly closer than anything recently.
