UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 14th April 2022]

They arent. They are closer to the relegation zone then they are to the title. They have lost or drawn 19 games in La Liga this season...

They're a tiny team in the grand scheme of things, it would be like Wolves getting to the UCL semis. You don't do that by luck, they're very well run and very well coached. Can't expect them to compete in both the league and the CL.

I went out tonight thinking neither tie would throw up anything interesting. I fancied Chelsea to cause Real a few issues but nothing more than maybe a draw and I really thought Bayern would have blown Villarreal away today and left them rueing the missed chances in the first leg. Hopefully our game's less interesting tomorrow night and all the drama is over in Madrid.

What's the difference between the Chelsea handball and the Middlesbrough handball?
I never know when you're being serious or just being you. The difference is very simple, Alonso was the player that scored the goal where as the Boro handball was from the player that assisted the goal. Accidental handballs are only penalised if it's the player that scores the goal.

RM won't win the CL though.

Absolutely, It's Liverpools again. I can't see a team in it to stop them now. All part of the treble. I feel for Chelsea, I detest the way Spanish teams play but I think they were the only team that Liverpool might struggle against in the CL. City will choke again.
