Uurgh this City commentary is horrific. Jenas gets confirmation of what the rule is and how to apply it from the in-studio ref, match referee doesn't apply rule correctly, Jenas loves it cos 'it makes sense' and tries to justify it as the right decision even though it was an incorrect application of the rules.

Kabak? He's been the better of the two defenders and isn't on a yellow. So Fabinho drops back and we take away the protection in front of the defence by taking off Milner.
 
Dont know why we've decided to do 2/3rds of the match without Thiago and Jota , would have much preferred that we started with them and had 2/3rds of the match with them rather than the other way round

Far too much tippy tappy around the box, too many people lacking confidence and wanting to give the ball to someone else, its like we push forward, get to the edge of the box and then its tappy pass, tappy pass, tappy pass, tackled, which is why Jota should have been on from the start as his confidence is high in his current form

i think it would be a completely different performance if the Anfield crowd was there, kinda highlights how important fans are, i really don't think Liverpool are that arsed about winning the game, what is the point if you don't have fans to share the win with
 
City have a second, highly unlikely to mess this up now.

If we pull our finger out against Slavia then we could see an all English final in both the CL and EL again.

Southgate is gonna have a nightmare picking a midfield, we're stacked with young talented midfielders.
 
Think we're out of ideas now, nobody seems to know what to do with it in the box, or is not willing to do something with it in the box. Clock will just run down now
