I really hate watching European football sometimes. Sociadad have just cheated and wasted time horrendously for the entire half and the ref has given them everything. Just makes for a rubbish game.

The refs are just so ****. I think we've had shocking decisions against us nearly every game.

I wouldn't be bothered about finishing second in the group but they cheated a win in our home leg. It is so frustrating.

I don't quite get that. You have slabhead up front so you can hoof long balls at him....then faff about with the corner.
3 mins to go and they are passing it about. Surely hes brought on slabhead for his physicality in the box lmao.

Of course not but having an awful ref makes it much harder to get the result you want. Every time a United player came close to a Sociadad one they went down like a sack of **** and the ref gave them a freekick and dished out the occasional yellow for good measure.
You could argue that a dodgy penalty shouldn't have decided the first game against them if we played well but the reality is that it did.
