At Villa park last night. Never known a pre game atmosphere like it surrounding the ground. Got there an hour early and it was hell on earth. Flares and fireworks going off everywhere and the police having an absolute mare with Legia fans. First time I've heard of away fans not being let in to watch the game. Crazy.

Not sure if that’s the right for this thread but it’s mainly come from yet another pathetic performance in the champions league. Yeah I read that. Mad. Never heard that before either, when I’ve seen aggro at away games it’s usually a case of the police getting everyone in as quick as possible as easier to contain. What did the fans do? Can’t imagine they went and had a nice cup of tea and a sit down.
