Lightweight in midfield. I'm very much still to be convinced by vdB, maybe Ole was right and he isn't quite good enough. Him and Mata is a weak midfield duo. Amad looked ok tonight, a few nice touches and runs. The rest of them meh

Wonder when was the last time a 17 year old and a 35 year old academy player made their debuts in the same match?

You could have said the same about Chelsea when Tuchel took over. It's over two months till the champions league resumes so a lot can happen in that time!

Who cares. I would rather be in the CL knockout every season than win the occasional EL.

That was borderline a complete B team full of youngsters and the new manage has been here all of a week. I think anyone expecting more than we saw is wildly optimistic.
