UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 9th November 2023]

Copenhagen get one back, now we have a game on...

I do think that Rashford card was unfortunate, he's just gone to protect the ball, but it's hurt an opponent so that's why they've given it.

He hasnt meant to hurt him...but he has and its quite high up his ankle aswell. Its a dangerous challenge.

It's not a challenge though is it, everyone knows what he's doing, we see it a million times a game. It's just unfortunate, did you think the Jones one was a red?

Stand on someone's ankle like that and you're getting sent off, intentional or not. Can't argue tbh. Going to be a risk stepping across an opponent like that. Unlucky but a definite red.

We're good enough to do this lot though, need to keep pressing and score because we're going to concede again.

Does it need to be a challenge to be dangerous?

It’s unfortunate indeed but to quote the commentator there. Lack of Intent doesn’t get you off the hook.

What is to stop players putting their leg in on purpose. Rashford couldn't see anything as he was looking at the ball. The player who stuck his leg in knew what he was doing.
