Ronaldo and Juventus underperforming and dumped out, not many better sights

even better Ronaldo being directly responsible for the decisive goal

What Pepe did for a 38 year is what sorts out the men from the boys. It is his ilk and players like Maldini who go down in legends as defenders of the game. It is all good doing it in your prime but to perform like that in your late 30's demands respect.

There is a difference between the players that are still going strong in their mid 30's and those that aren't its obviously genetics and how well they take care of themselves but its also their ability to adapt and still have that hunger for the game. Ibra is a prime example of that. Guy will be 40 in 6 months!

Just watched the Dortmund highlights. The Haaland goal that was brought back for a penalty was ridiculous but the penalty sums up the intelligence of footballers. Very akin to the penalty we should have had vs Chelsea.

Haaland misses the penalty and their keeper gives him a load of grief and gets in his face. Haaland retakes the penalty and scores and does the same and suddenly all the Sevilla players are up in arms.

Both penalties in that game were soft AF though.
