UEFA Champions/Europa League Qualifying 20/21/22 August *** Spoilers ***

Damnit, completely forgot the Sociedad game is on, thought they'd struggle crazy badly away at Lyon with a team with no champs league experience(well essentially none).

Vela scored a great chipped goal on Saturday, 2-0 up and Lyon down to 10 now. Commentator in that game saying the second yellow was harsh but seemed to me that Vela was past him, didn't get the ball and clearly made contact with his feet, probably should be a pen as well.

I really did think Sociedad might struggle to get into the champs league group stage but 2-0 away, wow.

EDIT:- meant to say, yes great goal btw. They've got so many talented mostly pretty young players. Griezman and Agirretxe scored or were part of so many great goals. Even guys like Zurutuza scored 2 and got 4 assists in only 14 starts last year. They've got SO much attacking/creative talent for a team with no money, can't really afford anyone and has mostly youngsters from their academy.

pretty much back to full strength. Just missing Arteta and Ox really now but they are long term injuries :/

Vermaelen also out and while some wouldn't have him in the first XI he is undoubtedly one of the top 3 CBs so would be on the bench at the very least and would have deputised for Koscielny vs Fulham if fit.

Some more good news for Arsenal, Monreal looks to have recovered from his back injury and is available to play so pretty much back to full strength. Just missing Arteta and Ox really now but they are long term injuries :/

Ox's injury is permanent.

It can be maintained with physio work, but it will always be there ready to flare up at any time.

Not particularly looking forward to our game against Fenebahce tomorrow, I don't have Sky Sports anymore so I'm not even sure if I can be bothered to go out of my way to watch it. I imagine we'll scrape a win and Arsene can go back to being delusional about the squad's quality or lack thereof.

What a goal from Griezmann:

Shinned it, doesn't count.

LOL :D...i know ill end up watching it anyways. As much as i hate being an Arsenal fan at the moment, i cant help but watch them and keep an eye as to what is going on in the transfer window.

Glutton for punishment i am:D

3-1 arsenal. Giroud 2 and Podolski. Their goal will come from calamitous defending as usual. Scoring order as follows: 0-1, 1-1, 1-2, 1-3. Giroud netting the first and third, at which point I will proceed in doing the truffle shuffle with my abs of steel, out on my balcony for all to see.

Now quit your belly aching and get behind the team

Can you please video that and post it up:p. I think we will scrape a win but it wont be easy as per usual because we will go 1-0 up only to stop defending, letting Fenerbache equalise then somehow we manage to find our goal scoring boots and also learn how to defend to win 2-1 in the end.

Meanwhile ill have gone through about 5 tvs by the time the game has finished:p

Sorry for being slightly disgruntled after eight years of mediocrity. At least I'm not one of these strange people that actually wants us to lose for some reason... :p

Make that 9yrs soon:p

Arsenal won't be getting hammered.

Why does everything underrate Arsenal so much?

Maybe because the squad we have, you know the one that got hammered 3-1 by Villa over the weekend isnt really that good despite Wengers protestations.

I dont think we will get hammered tonight either but it will be close, ive already said it will probably end 2-1 to Arsenal or at worst a 0-0 draw. Cant afford to lose this game as it will just turn up the heat on Wenger on the return leg.

Not long to go before we kick off against Fenerbache, really not looking forward to this game and my bum is starting to squeak already:p

Forcing myself to say COYGS!!!!:p
