UEFA Champions League 2010/11 Matchday 6 *** Spoilers ***

What's the betting on Spurs getting AC Milan and Arsenal get Schalke... who are 4th from bottom of the Bundesliga

Despite leading Seria A, I'm pretty sure Spurs could take AC Milan, they can't handle any team who has pace. They play the game really slowly and Spurs could easily up the tempo to one they couldn't handle

The result is the most important thing obviously so firstly, good result in terms of the scoreline but the performance was pretty poor if I'm honest. Chamakh yet again was virtually useless and failed to work the goalkeeper on two excellent opportunities that I can remember, one was a Sagna cross and I think the other was a van Persie flick on to him. The lineup and then the formation was pretty puzzling as well, to me it looked like our regular formation, but with van Persie playing near the central midfield, we almost ballsed it up but thankfully managed to put a few away, if Wenger thinks a team like that can win the CL then he is very much mistaken. I understand Fabregas is injured but when you have Wilshere on the bench you don't start with a midfield 3 of Denilson, Song and van Persie.

Denilson was utter pap. He still needs getting rid of.

Terrible, terrible player, he just passes backwards and sideways constantly, no ambition to even start a remotely attacking move, hopefully with the dreadful team selection we'll have Fabregas back and Wilshere playing against Man Utd. I would actually start, if available with a midfield 3 of Wilshere, Nasri and Cesc and then stick Walcott on the right, van Persie on the left and Chamakh in the middle.

I'd say we'd need to pack the midfield this Monday, but there'd be no point whatsoever. United will predictably set themselves up to counter attack, which they've effectively done for the last couple of matches. You're right though, no Arshavin - we can't afford a lazy day from him against UTD. Will Cesc even be back?

K1LLSW1TCH in Picking Chamakh In His Starting Eleven shocker!

Well even though I personally dislike his playing style there's no arguing against his goals scored. Whether they're crap or not I don't care anymore, I'm more concerned about the D but it's not as if we have overwhelming options in that department. :(

Yup definitely no Arshavin. If it was the Arshavin who was worth every penny of his price tag then yes, hell yes, but it will almost certainly be the lazy Arshavin who looks a million miles away, probably daydreaming of meerkats or something. I think van Persie would be much better on that left hand side and we need Walcott's pace on the right, even though Nasri has been doing the business on that side I think he is more than capable of playing pretty much anywhere in the midfield, if Cesc doesn't start for God's sake don't play van Persie in that position, he's a forward not a midfielder. Wenger needs a slap for tonight's decision srsly.

I know, there was a daft foul after that by Song I think as well. Thing is with this Arsenal side, for once I think it's a worthy sacrifice by Sagna.

You are perceptive. 1 - 6 it will be (to us)

Edit - Is perceptive a word? it feels right.
