RVP goal tally since coming back from injury...38 goals in 41 games...what an immense record and form hes in...such a shame Fabregas left us as i reckon him and RVP would have been immense together.

First English side to qualify for the last 16 yeahhhhh babyyyyyy yeah...

Neither do i...Ancelotti was much better and shouldnt have been sacked so quickly...stupid russian owner that Chelski have,hes more of a hinderance than anything at the moment...

As for AVB, werent they saying hes the second coming of the Moaning One??? lol

I think you're right. The criteria are:

UEFA said:
a) higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
b) superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;
c) higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played among the teams in question;
d) superior goal difference from all group matches played;
e) higher number of goals scored in all group matches played;
f) higher number of coefficient points accumulated by the club in question, as well as its association, over the previous five seasons.

If Chelsea and Valencia draw 1-1 then a-c would all be equal, meaning it would be settled by d), with Valencia going through. A 0-0 draw would see Chelsea go through on point c), so the key for them will be keeping a clean sheet.

edit: Fair play to Valencia, they've done themselves a massive favour beating Genk by 6 or more goals tonight as it means if they score at Chelsea, Chelsea have to win.

Chelsea will beat Valencia
City will be Bayern and Villarreal will hold Napoli
United will beat Basle and Galati will hold Benfica

I'd put money on it....
 
You can get odds of 129.42 on that, the idea of Benfica only drawing at home to Galati is 6-1 on its own :)

edit: I think MC are quite lucky that Bayern have already won the group, they would be much more of a proposition if they had something to play for.

The KPB goal was better than his entire career in English football.

Re: AVB comparions to José; he was his chief scout, similar career path, lots of OMG JUST LIKE HIM comparisons... but really he should have taken Porto into the CL for one season at least rather than jumping to a bigger club too quickly. It doesn't help half the Chelsea squad are either dinosaurs or players like Mikel either.
 
Also... we don't have to play Barca yet! Fantastic. I live in hope they end up on the other half of the draw and get knocked out controversially by Madrid or something.
 
Thinking about the 2nd round draw, Arsenal can't get Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern, Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd, or Inter Milan. Depending on where the English sides finish in their groups we could dodge a few other awkward games like Benfica, Napoli, Leverkusen and Valencia. Obviously Milan will be one to avoid but potentially we could have a very limited number of possible opponents, maybe as few as 4.
 
That Kevin Prince Boateng goal was unreal... so was Messi's pass for Barca's 3rd mind you made it look so easy yet only Barca would pull off something like that

If current form continues Arsenal should have no problems getting into the Quarters looking at the list of possible opponents they could get
