UEFA Champions League 22/23 November *** Spoilers ***

Guys. Guys. Hey guys. Guys. Hey guys. Hey guys. Guys. Guys.

That's how you win in Europe guys.

THANK YOU.

Regardless of his mistake at the end, Song bossed it tonight. Are you reading this DM? BOSSED. IT.

lol, he made a huge mistake, gave away posession repeatedly, he was a distant 3rd best central midfielder tonight, against a team that has been WOEFUL in europe so far, and had their best defensive midfielder, and best attacking midfielder injured early on....... they pretty much dominated Arsenal till that point.

Generally when a DM bosses a game, the other team doesn't walk out with almost twice as many shots total, with arguably their two most important players off the field with 2/3rd's of the game to go.

Had that goal led to us losing 1-0 you'd be telling a different story. Result/goals scored and how someone actually performed aren't the same things.

Song did very well for the goal, though there was a lot of luck as at the start of the move he basically lost it and was gifted back to him. nice feet to go inside the defender, and a good cross. In midfield, where you said he bossed it...... not so much.

EDIT:- Great goal by Boateng, terrible miss by Robinho, meh goal from Ibra. Stupid first penalty from Messi and IIRC Aquilani should have been sent off for the pullback but the ref gave a yellow to Nesta instead(Aquilani had already been booked before then).

Quality result last night especially with how well Dortmund were playing. Made myself 265 quid too :D. 95 for RvP scoring first and 170 for 2-1, was egging them on to score at the end and they obliged!

Chelsea will beat Valencia

I think the intervening EPL match results will have a lot to do with what happens to Chelsea in 2 weeks time.

If they can (even) fluke two wins before meeting them, it will be a totally different match to if they dont build their confidence up with good performances/ results

Well done to Arsenal though, I just hope RVP doesnt break down with something innocious on Jan 1st and the team doesnt see him again for 6 months (it wouldnt be the first time after all)

DM, just stop with your nonsense, if you think Song was the 3rd best CM last night, stop watching football, you don't understand it.

Nice to see gooners all happy and chirppy. Wonder how long it be before the pitch forks are out again when things go sour. When is holland next game;)

I thought Ramsey's performance was better than Song's overall.

To come back as well as he has from such a horrific injury is heart warming. He's had a few shaky moments this season but for the most part he has been great. Still seems to be improving with every game too. His energy is just superb.

I really hope RvP stays fit all season, think he could break some records. Since the 2008 -2009 season he has scored 69 goals in 115 games. Pretty impressive, his international record isn't too shabby either. Definitely the form world striker at the moment.

thinking years ago how great English teams did in the champions league
this year it has all been so different there is a tide change on the continent!: :(

Still floating high after last nights win...superb performance from Arsenal all round...thought Ramsey was brilliant as usual and Song did well but still prone to giving the ball away...but i liked how he set up RVPs first goal though, credit to him and he played well last night.

Id hate to see if RVP gets injured. fingers crossed he doesnt but geez if he does then who is going to score our goals??...Gervinho i thought was pretty meh last night, his touch seemed to have deserted him last night. So good to have Vermaelen back in defence and fit....he definitely makes us stronger in the back and Koscielny is now becoming a better defender game by game...guess Wenger did see something in him and hes coming good now.

The fact that we are the first English team to qualify for the last 16 makes it all the more sweeter.
