UEFA Champions League and Europa League Knockout Games **Spoilers**

it's almost like there is an agenda...
You sound paranoid. As I'm sure I said to you when I first raised this before the lockdown, the issue isn't that Utd haven't had 21 penalty appeals that could be given, it's that no other side has been awarded nearly as many of these possibly penalty appeals than Utd have.

Very quickly I can think of at least 4 penalties Liverpool should have had (more if you include these marginal calls like last night's pen) since the restart and yet we didn't receive even one. Very few possible penalties are given - Utd have just had a run where far far more (relative to other sides) have been given.

You also had that Var joke against Everton where De Gea was whacked in the face but the goal given.

You also had the VAR joke when Maguire wasn't sent off for kicking out at a Chelsea player, the VAR joke when Daniel James' dive vs Norwich was overturned and given as a penalty (the PGMOL apologised for later), the VAR joke when Fernandes dive vs Villa wasn't overturned, the VAR joke when Rashford's goal vs Liverpool wasn't ruled out for a foul on Origi, the VAR joke when Firmino's goal was ruled out because De Gea's as strong as a 6 year old, the Chelsea goal that was ruled out after the Chelsea player was nudged into Williams, the VAR joke for your goal vs Palace when Palace should have had a penalty.

And yes, I'm sure there have been other wrong calls go against you but it's a bit cheeky to complain about them when far more and some of the worst VAR and penalty calls this season have gone for you.

Im not complaining about anything. It is the Liverpool fans that seem so bothered about Manchester United. I was merely pointing out that it swings both ways.

Lol I had to look it up, you mean the one where VVD cleared De Gea out and got nothing of the ball? Yeah weirdly that was disallowed, what a shock.

The swing has swung your way for more than the other though. As for Liverpool fans being bothered, firstly it's pretty much everybody, even some Utd fans that are amazed at the luck you've had and what do you expect us to be discussing in a football subforum when Utd are playing?

Cleared him out? :o Even Neville, who's been the most biased commentator for the past 18 months and Keane, Ole's best mate, said there was no foul there. As did the vast majority of supporters (again even some Utd supporters) on here. Then again you did deny that Maguire kicked out at Batshuayi too so.

He jumped into him and didn't get the ball, in what way is that a legal challenge? Keane is an idiot, let's be real. he hasn't a clue about the modern rules.

regarding Maguire, what I said was it could be argued either way. But the people arguing it was a kick could come up with no reason why Maguire would want to kick him, no motivation at all.

As I said, there is a clear agenda. Fans of other clubs store up these incidents for months and months while happily ignoring the decisions that go against us. Nobody does this for other clubs. There is a reason ABU and hated, adored but never ignored are common sayings.

I'm not going round in circles regarding the decisions, the point was simply that Utd have had far more really bad calls go their way than against them. As for "nobody does this for other clubs" and this abu nonsense - it's because no other side has had 21 penalties, not this season or any other season. Nor have they benefitted from VAR decisions as much as Utd had. I certainly cannot recall any chat around Utd and decisions 3 years ago when you finished 2nd but weren't getting a penalty every 5 minutes so it's clearly not just because it's Utd. Heck, look through the various threads on here and your own supporters are making sarcastic comments about the number of penalties you're getting - of course opposition fans will too.

It genuinely shocks me that even the most hardened Utd supporter can deny that Utd have had a huge amount of good fortune (relative to other sides) with decisions this season. Again, I'm not doubting that Utd could have had 21 genuine penalty appeals this season but the ratio of appeals to penalties awarded has been very much in Utd's favour compared to pretty much every other side.

Fun times when the Premier League start policing whether the goalkeeper moved forward during a penalty with their offside lines and 1mm analness.

Why do the pundits always say the players are tired because they have had over a year season. They had three months off! If this was a normal season they would have done the Euro's anyway with even less break.

Wow that’s really lame regarding the penalty and the keeper being off the line and the defence being off the line too. What do these officials and VAR actually do? It’s embarrassing.

Only time I have ever seen it pulled back was Aguero at the start of the season. It's one of those things 90% of refs just don't bother checking I think.

Can we not just have a Man U penalty moaning thread please, so we can stop clogging up the match threads every week :p

What will all the Liverpool fans whinge about then?

Wolves need a bit of luck here. They are getting dominated by Sevilla at the moment.

I have forgotten just how boring and bad watching a game with Wolves in it are.

If wolves win I think I am going to have to make up some sort of drinking game to get through the semi final.

Good to see the team that actually tried to play football win. Will be a tough game against Sevilla, they're masters of Europa League. We owe them for last time so it does put an edge on it!
