Arsenal are seriously scary, think they could take the league and the champions league.

Well we are looking good but its a bit too early to be saying that mate:eek:. We dont extremely well tonight and fingers crossed we carry on this winning run.

Whats making it scary now is that our players are coming back from injury, Cazorla is back in a week or so time, Walcott will be back after the international break then there is only Podolski and the Ox to come back. Not gonna mention Diaby as hes a donkey now and i dont think he would get much game time.

But our midfield is looking stupid strong now, just hope Flamini and Arteta stay fit along with Ramsey and the others.

I thought Barcelona looked better pre-season, but now they just look really dull and average - more so without messi!

I think Arsenal are going to go far in lots of things this year. Chelsea look ok, but personally I thought they were better last year. Will be interesting to see how Bayern and Real Madrid do this year as well.

Arsenal have played well in periods the last few seasons, let's not forget. They're clearly better with Ozil and Flamini but I do feel people may be getting a bit carried away far too soon. They were very good tonight in the first half but Napoli were poor, who gives Ozil 20 yards of space on the edge of the area?!

Arsenal are too lightweight to go far this year. Unless they can add a lot in January. The more they stay in the harder it will hit them as usual around Christmas. They have a great first 11 and the rest is a bit meh.

Only a matter or time before arteta gets injured again as well. If they can build on this side without others taking players again then they might start winning things again. I don't think it will be this year though, as much as I'd like to see wenger win the champions league I don't think they have enough on the bench just yet.

It's looking promising from Arsenal, but I certainly won't be getting carried away about them winnings things. The first 15/16 players in Arsenals squad are great, but the squad lacks depth, which I don't think anyone will disagree with, even Wenger agrees with that when asked.

But it is looking promising for the upcoming seasons, with Arsenal seemingly turned the financial corner, and the hard work over the past few years does appear to be showing signs of paying off. But it's far too early really to be screaming and shouting about how great everything is.
It also seems that most players are really versatile, so the team can shrug off a fair few injuries without it affecting the shape of the team too much, but again, we shall see how that progresses through the season and with what injuries are picked up.

They still need another striker, unless Podoski gets 20 goals when he comes back.

A striker and centre back would be nice. Unless of course with the new shape, Podolski is going to play up top more often. Who knows?! But it would be nice to go and try and buy a top class centre back - I'd love someone like Subotic? (I wanted Sakho :()

Awesome first half performance, Napoli couldn't keep up with the passing and pace. Second half was very un-Arsenal like, no crazy attempts to keep scoring, just kept calm, defended strongly and made a few very close goal attempts as well. I think Napoli will be a very different proposition away from home though. Special mention to Sagna who I've not seen play like that in a long long time. And just to show how times have changed, when Ramsey looked injured just before half time I was thinking please don't go off injured and be replaced by Wilshere.

Promising signs from Arsenal even with a lot of midfielders out but if we lose Giroud for any length of time we will struggle big time. He was great last night and we have no one who can replace him adequately. Hopefully Wenger will address this in the January transfer window.

We only lack depth in the striker role

Why do you keep going on about us being lightwight? Have a proper look at our squad. The only places we could do with reinforcing are another striker. Who we can rely on Podolski for, Bendtner or walcott. Hopefully in that order.

We could do with another CB but Verm is back and I think he will shine given the chance.

We still have Podolski, Ox, Diaby (Who despite a donkey does put in some good performances when fit...When...).

Midfield we actually have enough to cover our injury prone. Rosicky, Wilshere, diaby can all have a time share position.

I wouldnt say we are ready for the CL but with a little luck you dont know.

But the league and if cups we have as good a chance as any of the top six this season.
