UEFA Champions League/Europa League 13/14/15 September *** Spoilers ***

I am no longer as confident going into the Napoli game. We are on the bare minimum in midfield and Napoli have a few very good midfielders.

What exactly is the bare minimum in midfielders? The same midfield give or take for the past couple games, or are you suddenly missing half your players.

Its increasingly irritating that you go on about lack of depth, at the club with more top notch strikers and midfield than maybe any other club in the league.... Europe maybe. Boohoo. You buy everyone then still have the outright cheek to complain like you've got a decimated squad because a couple players are out and you've got backup players most teams in the CL would play as first team, seriously get over it. Oh no, Tevez is injured I'll have to play Dzeko, or Balotelli, or move Aguero further forward.

Arsenal, Ramsey's injured so we'll play........... Benny? Frimpongs out so we play Coquelin, or Eastmond.

Get 10 injuries then we'll listen to how tough City are having it, miss a couple players, get over it.

I will be watching:
Chelsea v Bayer Leverkusen & Man City v Napoli

Then Arsenal and Man U for their home legs.

What are your selections?

Well Barry, De Jong, Milner are all injured and Razak is not registered along with Hargreaves.

So we are left with Yaya. Zaba will likely come into partner him. Our backup RB.
So yes the minimum in terms of midfield.

Have i ever complained about the forwards or defence?

Yeah i think we have genuine concern's city dont overly because they have quality in all positions, would have been nice for wenger to have two good players for roughly each position like in the past, but he decides not to spend all of his money, so good luck to him hopfully it pays off although most have their doubts about that myself included, hopefully they qualify by the time they reach the second round they'll have a fit squad and maybe new faces as well, who knows what what the future holds, maybe a trophy in the hands of rvp by may!

We do have two players for every position. It's just that at any point in time, one of those two will be injured.

Oh no! You should try and get some more players in on loan or something. God knows how you've managed after so little activity in the recent transfer windows.

Are Napoli really as good as people say, I don't watch much Italian football.
Got some top forwards and midfielders although their defence is weak i believe.

Going forward they have Cavani (30 odd last year), Lavezzi, Hamsik, Inler and Pandev.

I cant believe people are getting so worked up about me letting people know we are weak in midfield for the Napoli game. I am not complaining/slagging Mancini/blaming Wigan-England-Wales etc i am just letting others know.

Good players though, jenkinson has great spirit ect, but hes not good enough yet , he cant be yet hes only in his teens and was playing non league last year, same goes for players in plenty of other positions.

So what will your incredibly painful forward/midfield 6 be,

Dzeko upfront, Tevez and Aguero on the flanks, Silva, Yaya and Zabaleta in central midfield....... seriously, I cry for you, I really do.

Its also pretty much going to the first ever time Zabaleta will play in central midfield aswell, and what other options do you have to change who can play in the middle, Nasri is physically incapable of playing in the middle obviously, nor can Kompany play in central midfield. I'm also fairly sure that Richards would be woeful in midfield what with his passing, workrate, speed, strength and attacking sense all making him completely awful should he play there. Kolo Toure certainly hasn't played in central midfield either, nor CB so he definately couldn't be helpful under any circumstances. There is no sarcasm in this post whatsoever.

No seriously, woe is you.

Arsenal will probably play, RVP, Gervinho and Theo on the flanks, Benny, Song, Arteta in the middle........... that would be the best team we could put out right now. If some of those get injured, it gets even more pathetic...... seriously I feel the pain for your truly horrible situation.

Lets ignore the whole Italian league being almost dog **** at the moment and the German league being easily the third strongest league right now, you should be able to put out almost an entire team who didn't play against Wigan and still beat them quite comftably.

So if City play the way they have been, I suspect they will win.
I think we will win but i would be a lot more confident if Barry could have been back because Zaba hasnt played for ages in midfield.

Tevez? He won't be playing.

Incredibly painful? I did was just simply let others on here know about our team for Napoli. I haven't complained or moaned about it just simply told a bit of info. Leave it alone.

Our team if your interested i believe will be....
----------Dzeko------------
Silva------Aguero----Nasri
------Yaya-------Zaba------
Kol--Komp-----Lesc----Richards
------------Hart--------------

Maybe Savic in for Richards though as he took a knock again v Wigan.

So your two worst players will be replaced by one of your best strikers, and a guy who has played DM for you multiple times over the last few years.......... you didn't use the word painful, you did however say you were worried.

You said you weren't confident of going into the game because you were at your bare minimum....... this, is completely and utter horse ****, which is why people are pointing that out to you.

Its not quite, but pretty close to a Barca fan saying, oh no, Pedro and Busquets are out so we'll have to play Fabregas and Puyol instead......... I'm no longer confident of playing a second rate team in a second rate league. I think we would laugh at them also.

Should I mention how in the other thread you were defending the brilliant Zabaleta, but are now not confident of winning against Napoli because he might have to play a position he's played many times before.

Two worst players?

I didnt say i was worried either?

Well we are at minimum because if Zaba got injured or Yaya who could we bring on and even use next week.

Second rate team? in a second rate league? LOL

I like Zabaleta and he has been a top player for us but has barely played DM with De Jong, Yaya, Barry and Milner in front of him.

I am sure he will do a good job but with De Jong for example there i would be more confident as it is main position and performs fantastically there.

Wow you are actually beginning to sound like an Arsenal supporter

Are you for real?
Well it is true?
I cant believe what i have said has sparked such a response from so many.

If your going into your fist CL game you want the strongest team possible. As it is we are using a RB as our 2nd CM.

So of course you will be less confident in the team.

I think where your getting the disagreement from is your seemingly lack of faith in other players in your squad, and i can see why. As an Arsenal fan 6 or 7 years ago, if we had a champions league tie or any other game and say cole was out i wouldnt be worried because i know that clichy could do a good job, if bergkamp was out i wouldnt worry so much because i know id have henry up there with say adebayor, I think people are pointing out that you seemingly are indirectly saying players coming in are not good enough and your worried that your team may lose, but i think the rest of us looking at that squad and if we were city fans wouldnt be overly worried at all.
