UEFA Champions League/Europa League 13/14/15 September *** Spoilers ***

So a European court has decided today that Sion, despite fielding ineligible players, must be reinstated to the EL instead of Celtic as UEFA have no right to tell a club they are not allowed to sign players, as its restriction of EU trade.

Can open, worms everywhere anyone?

VDV dropped and not happy. he needs to be rested, there's talk of him being back for liverpool on sunday as he has apparently made a speedy recovery. how about a full recovery, not a speedy one?!

Who are Arsenal going to play left back tonight?

Both Santos and Gibbs have travelled to Germany so I'm not sure who will start. Santos didn't play on the weekend because he hasn't played since the Copa America, Gibbs has been out injured as well though so neither of them are really in form.

I really hope he doesn't rotate that drastically. Benfica are a good team and I wouldn't want that many changes. Is Valencia actually fit now?

He was back in the squad for the Bolton game albeit he didn't end up making the bench, he didn't play in last nights reserve game either so unless he's had a relapse I'd assume he's being lined up for the Benfica game. Ferdinand is confirmed not to play as he hasn't travelled.

Squad in full;

De Gea, Lindegaard; Evans, Evra, Fabio, Jones, Smalling; Anderson, Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs, Nani, Park, Valencia, Young; Berbatov, Hernandez, Owen, Rooney

So maybe Evans for Fabio in my team then. I'd be amazed if Fletcher, Giggs, Berbatov and Park don't get a game.

BBCchrismclaug: Sion have NOT been reinstated. Swiss court advising Uefa they should be. Uefa not bound by civil law on this. Decision around 2pm #Celtic

The Celtic/Sion thing is a bit of a joke, they've tried every other court and been told to bugger off. They try a civil case in a Swiss county court and win, and now they're saying the decision is binding and UEFA must re-instate. Bit of a joke really if they are allowed back in.

As a Celtic fan the money would be great but do we really need to see Celtic get pumped/humiliated at least 3 times in Europe?

Excited to actually watch Dotmund, heard a lot about Gotze, Hummels etc., wanna see if they're actually any good.

Ah okay, well who ever it'll be Gotze will rip them to shreds! :D

Really don't know who to watch today. Arsenal or Barca... hmmm.

Looking forward to tonights game but not fancying our chances against Dortmund....hopefully we can get a win out of it but im not feeling too positive as Gotze is supposed to be something special??...

Damn Barca game on as well, guess ill have to catch the highlights of that game later on in the evening...taking more of an interest in Barca due to Fabregas now in their squad.

Barca vs AC will be a cracker - probably predictable result however.

Feel like Arsenal will get turned over, they're just playing so badly lately!

Well we won on the weekend albeit not a convincing win but a win nonetheless so we should be a bit more confident somewhat...hopefully we can score some goals tonight as we badly need to start scoring some.

Hopefully, always great to see the english teams doing well in europe. Just seems too much of an empty shell when they sell their best players without replacing them.

Barca's at home right? in that case yes, it should be a good game ;) Barca don't seem to travel too well in Europe, but you can't argue with their success regardless.
