UEFA Champions League/Europa League 13/14/15 September *** Spoilers ***

Poor performance, good result.

Lindegaard was the only highlight really, very good performance from him.

Shows how much we need to ship Fletcher and Carrick out and get in some more competent midfielders, I really fear for us in the centre without Anderson and/or Cleverley.

Also Benfica dived a lot and Aimar should have been sent off for two clear cut yellow card offences.

Well I hope that was entertaining for the neutral at least.. Napoli defended well, we started very well, had all the possession just didn't create. It was like watching the post-invincibles Arsenal. Lots of passing and no-one bloody shooting. Bit disappointed as that was supposed to be the easiest game of the group, and at home we should really be looking for 3 points there. Can't believe Toure didn't bury that shot either. To hit the bar from there is borderline criminal, saw the best and worst of Kompany tonight too.

Lots to learn, not quite the CL debut I'd hoped for but at least it was entertaining :) Thought Tevez might do a Chelsea special and nick it at the end there too! :D

Oh and superb goal from Kolarocket. Glad his seasonal goal from a free kick got us the point.

I would have thought Villareal were the easiest opposition? Napoli have some great players, Hamsik, Cavani, Inler, Lavezzi etc etc, certainly not to be underestimated.

Inter match was a good watch, but they really need to step up, they look awful and Trabzonspor just grew in confidence and got their reward. There keeper played a blinder and kept them in the game.

she was asking a dumb question though and he rightly shoved the answer back up her nose.

I didn't see the interview so don't know how the question was worded but why would it be dumb to ask if Lindegaard would keep his place after being picked and playing well today?

edit: It was Dalglish's daughter asking the questions? :D
