UEFA Champions League/Europa League 14/15/16 February *** Spoilers ***

Due to World Love day I missed the footy, can't believe that Barca scoreline.

Anyway Bayern tonight, yay...

You say that but you and every other EPL supporting team would fear them two players if you played PSG so don't BS.
anything like his year at Utd and no I wouldnt worry about him at all, he was dreadful

Cavani looks good in France but anywhere else would be found out

Like Serie A where he scored 78 in 104 :)

Plus, ADM, Man U fans gushed about him when he first started for you, so things didn't work out does that discount him being a good player?

Rooney wasnt bad 3 or 4 years ago either, doesnt meant you would want him in a top team today though......

Completely irrelevant to how he has been over the last two or three years at PSG

Even PSG themselves arent running away with Ligue 1 at the moment - safely in the top 3 but not exactly top form either

So if they aren't running away with the league maybe you're selling PSG and the league a bit short and it's a lot better than you think? I'm pretty sure PSG would beat any of our clubs in the EPL and Cavani and Di Maria would be the main threats.

It also maeans they arent playing well this season (lost and drawn two each in the last ten, lost against 8th and 10th in the league) in comparison to the last few years. Monaco are a decent team this season but otherwise.....they are a bit meh

Also roughly 20% more spread in points in their top 6 compared to the EPL - ie Utd have approx 80% of Chelsea's points, and Marsellie in 6th have approx 60% of Monaco's - so not that competitve
- just checked La Liga and Bunda and both are around 70% so a decent level higher than Ligue 1

Yeah Ligue 1 is not a good league compared to the other major ones, I don't think many people would argue with that. I disagree about Cavani and Di Maria though, I think both of them are class. Di Maria just didn't work out at United, he didn't ever feel truly settled in Manchester and we had the wrong manager to get the best out of him, but he's still a superb player. Cavani's goalscoring record is excellent and only went down a bit in his first couple of seasons at PSG because they were playing him out of position to accommodate Ibra.

Cavani is still great in terms of movement and vision, his finishing has been letting him down though. At least whenever I watch him, must be cursed :D

Oh come on, playing sanchez up front on his own? Dropped monreal and put ospina in goal, wtf is wrong with our manager.

He cant win though can he. If he doesnt and play Giroud peolle moan why hes playing Giroud.

Im surprised at no Walcott though. Youd think hed want to catch Bayern on the break.

We get told Sanchez is amazing this season, but there is two distinct game types. The worst teams, Sanchez up front has been banging them in massively against the bottom 6-8. Against the top half Arsenal's record is poor, against the top 3rd it's terrible. Sanchez is isolated and mostly completely useless in those games. The only times we've looked at all useful against top half teams is in the final 20 mins with Giroud subbed on and Sanchez usually back out wide.

I'm fine with Sanchez starting the games his style suits, ie worse teams we want to score well against, but the better teams he shouldn't start anywhere but the wing.

It's so obvious in watching Arsenal that he's been so useless in so many of those tougher games yet Wenger persists like it's a great plan.
