UEFA Champions League/Europa League 15/16/17 March *** Spoilers ***

Come on, Bayern have the far superior team and they were playing crap. Guardiola has not improved Bayern and most people agree that they are not as good as they were before he arrived.

If you picked a best XI out of these two teams you would end up with Bayern + perhaps Pogba. Bayerns teams is full of players that are good enough to beat 90% of teams simply by being a collection of star individuals.

I didnt realise it was just an English game thing

They used to be able to play against their own side in the PL too. I think the rule was changed when Lua Lua scored against Newcastle while on loan at Portsmouth and there was a bit of a fuss caused as the goal went a long way to stopping Newcastle qualifying for the CL.

Thought Arsenal played very well tonight which isn't bad considering Barcelona are the best team in the world by quite a distance. At least Wenger's happy with the performance even if some people aren't.

To be fair, Arsenal had to go at them as they needed the goals, it was always going to either go very well or very bad. At least they created lots of chances and had go at it. Remember when Liverpool went to Real Madrid and totally bottled it and played a (b) team.
