Aint that the truth, feel like Arsenal are in Groundhog Day.
1) Start well in PL
2) Progress reasonably comfortably in CL group stage
3) Wheels come off PL in Jan/Feb in part due to a heap of injuries
4) Lose CL last 16 match
5) Rally a bit to claim 4th place in PL
I don't blame Wenger much as Arsenal is being run as a business more than a football club right now and that means for every good player we gain we have to lose another.
I do wish he'd instil a bit more attacking instinct rather than trying to pass the ball into the net. We score some great goals but not enough simple or scrappy ones which is what keep the better teams winning even when they play badly.
