UEFA Champions League/Europa League 17/18/19 March *** Spoilers ***

There was a brief flicker in there where City totally against the run of play could have done something, that penalty miss snuffed that out.

Other than that Barca dominated and should have won about 5-0.

EPL one of the best league in the world, don't make me laugh.
It's the most entertaining. It's not a two team league where all the top players are in only two teams.
The number of top players here is spread over 6 or so teams. From the other leagues it's the same teams getting to semi finals.
Arsenal and Chelsea had no excuse not to beat their opposition.

We have the best individuals that are drawn here by money. Not the best teams by miles though. Also EPL is the most entertaining but that doesn't mean the best quality.

The style of football that the top european teams play is more suited to the CL than the english teams in general and the style of refereeing favours them as well. We don't have any of the top 3 or 4 teams in the world right now but this has just been a bad season for english teams in the CL.

The media are a bunch of plebs and had Chelsea not conceded a late goal and Arsenal not imploded in the first game against monaco we would have 2 english teams and no french teams in the quarters and suddenly there wouldn't be an issue. There are very fine margins at this level but the media love hyperbole.

Barcelona win 5-0 practically every other week in La Liga, one or two teams which get a disproportionate amount of income don't make a league.

This is the same Man City that lost 1-0 to Burnley last weekend who are sitting 3rd bottom of the Premier League.
