And like he said he gifted a fair few easy chances to players who should've scored. That said he still sucked

Enrique has been shocking for the past 6-7 months and for me he wasn't particularly good before that.
As yet I don't really think Santon is that good, Gutierez is god damned awesome though. THe work he gets through in a game defensively, just look at Newcastle against Everton, second half Guti covering the right back and Everton became a totally different team. Liverpool bought the wrong left sided player there.
Guti can turn an average left back into someone who looks almost world class. To be honest I think Guti doesn't offer enough offensively anymore(though maybe he would with a better left back behind him he wasn't covering for
), Newcastle should consider buying a full time left winger and putting Guti in at left back.

I like Enrique but I agree he was made to look a lot better having a player like Guti in front of him who did most of the graft for him.

Enrique was arguably our best player up to Christmas then completely fell away. He's next to useless as a defender now. Can only assume Robinson's not getting a chance because Rodgers doesn't want two 17 year old kids playing down the same side.
