The only thing Arsenal can claim is they have qualified for the CL more times in the last 10 years and that they won the league more recently.

Apart from that, Liverpool have won the CL more times and more recently, they have won more trophies period, a hell lot more, they have won the league more times, and dare I say it, they have more supporters around the world.

Liverpool - 2 FA cups, 3 League cups, Champions League, UEFA Cup, 2 Community Shields, 2 UEFA Super Cups

Arsenal - 2 League titles, 3 FA cups, 2 Community Shields

This doesn't even include Liverpool's dominance of the League and Europe in the 80s. Struggling to see how Arsenal are 'bigger'.

Personally I'd say Liverpool are a more prestigious club for players to join than Arsenal. Ok a lot of the trophies are from 20+ years ago but I bet most foreign players would class Liverpool as a bigger club in that regard.

Have to disagree there and this all depends on what you define as big. Over the past few years I'd say Arsenal have been a much more appealing club than Liverpool.

Arsenal - 1 Premier League Title (03/04), 1 FA Cup (04/05)
Liverpool - 1 Champions League (04/05), 1 FA Cup (05/06), 1 Carling Cup (11/12)
