Here's another view of Suarez jumping on Hubocan.

De Gea would have saved it

Not sure if this is part of the on going joke about De Gea but that keeper shifts exceptionally to get where he does, it is actually very impressive how close he got.

Do you not think the keepers hand is too high? if it was lower he would have saved it. just looks weird to me!

I think when you're scrambling like that and stretching it is very hard to get your hand exactly the right height with the ball dipping/curling in, also think it was past him anyways.

It just further proves that the goal line officials are a complete waste of space.

Indeed, haven't the ball to make any decision like the penalty shout.

I highly doubt that, they're nothing alike

Thought that myself, mind you Suarez is a lot better.

I don't understand him sometimes. I'm not sure whether he meant to hurt him (he could've easily stamped on him but didn't) or if he simply doesn't care who's in his way when he tries to win the ball back. Either way he could've avoided any controversy by jumping over him which is what 99.9% of other players in the world would've done.

I think the doesn't care who is in the way/who gets hurt in his quest to get the ball. Maybe he thought standing on people was allowed after Huth stamped on his chest and got away with it, or he wants revenged for being kicked about for 90 minutes, regardless its wrong but he isn't going to change so we have to pray he keeps his cool and doesn't get a red any biggish game. Regardless, love the crazy *******.

There's a suggestion that in the build up to the Allen goal ( i think, I missed all the games), Suarez deliberately trod on the achilles of the defender who ended up being stretchered off.... which would absolutely be the first time he's tried to injure a player to win a game....

Would I have Suarez in my team, not a chance, he is a filthy git and most importantly there is always another player you can get. I wouldn't buy him now if he wasn't a filthy git because football is football, fans/pundits will randomly ignore one player while the media decide to proclaim one player as the bestest for no apparent reason, he'll be vastly overpriced and even in a good scoring year, misses so many easy chances its a joke. Look at the media and fans treatment of Nasri and Arshavin in the same year, one was a selfish tit who rarely worked hard, got 11 goals 1 assists left for almost 25mil despite actually not being very good, the other got 10 goals 18 assists and was proclaimed lazy, rubbish, and the fans turned on him. The fact that he should miss half a season every year for cheating and purposefully injuring players really shouldn't be ignored.

In that Everton game he attempted to injure two players to gain an advantage, one ended up going off the pitch and was missing for several weeks, no, there isn't a chance I want to buy a player like that, ever.

And I suppose you know better than all of them?

yup....

I seem to recall detailing exactly what kind of player Nasri was during his "great season" and every reason why City were massively overpaying for him.... and yes, I was write and most people were completely wrong. He's not a hard worker, he can get goals/assists when the rest of the team plays well but he is invisible in the big games, lazy, and isn't a game changing player. This is exactly what he is now at City and he was never worth anything over 10mil.

He was great(supposedly) in the first 2-3 months of the season, the impression he was having a great season was now a run away train and the massive drop in form did nothing to change that. A player who had been pretty awful for the previous 5 months went for a massive fee to a club looking for the best players in the world....

The media and some fans proclaimed him Arsenal's most important player, a great goal scorer, great goal maker, none of these things was even close to accurate, and his value sky rocketed, hey, great for us, but if anyone was paying attention to his actual form, his performances, City wouldn't have paid anything close to what they did and now they are regretting it.
