UEFA Champions League/Europa League 19/20/21 February *** Spoilers ***

Torres said the same about wanting to bring the glory days back to Anfield, they soon get bored not playing at what they consider the pinnacle. Especially as their own ego gets more and more inflated.

Hell it even happened to Sir Stevie G of Anfield. Even his 'loyalty' was stretched.

Don't get me wrong Suarez is a little **** on the pitch but the way some people in this thread are putting him down for it is incredible. Especially a United fan with the RVP in their signature...Every club has a bad egg, some worse then others so lets keep this on football...

Suarez' family are the most important thing to him I think and his family are very happy where they are. He's an honest guy and isn't the type to mince his words so when he say's he is happy at Liverpool and wants to stay I believe him.

I think he will stay another season to try and push Liverpool on and get them into the top four spots.

What have I said that's unfair?

You yourself just called him a "little ****". :o

Perhaps loyalty wasn't shown to Gerrard by the club leaving him feeling unwanted. Regardless if his head was turned he stayed and I doubt he'd change it, maybe Suarez will stay too :p (doubt it but another year to shoot for top 4 would be nice, could see how devastated he was we went out)

While I agree certain people just constantly post 'suarez is dirty rat' etc are incredibly stupid you can't really accuse Robbo of that, hes hardly said much has he?

Also while RvP is a gob****e and an unloyal one at that Suarez is a substantially larger nob on the pitch, as in it isn't even close. (Although easier to be less of one when winning everything)

Can't believe Suarez didn't get a red, or at least a yellow, for standing on someones back. The video clearly showed it was deliberate.

He's a great player, but really, he does some unnecessary things..

Probably hard for the ref to see that while it was at full speed chasing the ball and there was no real stamp as he was running anyways.

How the **** wasn't Neto sent off? Continuous fouls throughout the entire match, kicking Suarez constantly and then that bit where he dragged Assaidi down outside the box by just grabbing his shirt and pulling as he was about to break into the box and get a shot one on one =/.

Heard Shelvey could've been sent off as well for that tackle, haven't seen the replay but doesn't surprised me whatsoever. Zenit went in with some massive lunges as well which if our players hadn't stopped themselves before them could've been pretty bad.

was not a stamp and hardly any pressure on his back.
you never know what your going to get with suarez, edgeof our seat entertainment at its best.

and like no one on here would want him in their team.

Wasn't a 'stamp' I agree, which is why I didn't say that. But it was still at pace, with studs in your back. Can't be comfortable, and definitely was intent.

i hadn't seen that gif of suarez landing on the players back before. no need, very dangerous and i'm sure he could've avoided it.

he's exactly what spurs need. he's got twice the workrate of adebayor and wont give anything up and i respect him for that.

shame he has to tarnish his performances at times with nasty acts. liverpool will be utterly screwed if they don't hold onto him. they need to meet his demands in all honesty be it money or other signings.

It just further proves that the goal line officials are a complete waste of space.

I don't understand him sometimes. I'm not sure whether he meant to hurt him (he could've easily stamped on him but didn't) or if he simply doesn't care who's in his way when he tries to win the ball back. Either way he could've avoided any controversy by jumping over him which is what 99.9% of other players in the world would've done.

Bit of both tbh, his will/desire to win is an all costs mentality, you only have to see his face at the end of the game to realise how much it meant to him. He is the same in training apparently.

You can easily avoid standing on the defender just move your foot to the side, sure he might lose his balance and fall down but players but players do that intentionally all the time.
