UEFA Champions League/Europa League 2/3/4 April *** Spoilers ***

I am still in a state of meltdown from losing Lennon and Bale.

Gallas should not be near our first team. Caulker is good enough.
No wingers for us is a nightmare.

I suppose your defence of Welbeck is a bit hilarious :p

Caulker has been generally impressive apart from one game I can't remember who it was against that he was utterly woeful? Like, Bramble on a bad day-bad.

gallas shouldn't ever start for the simple reason he is too slow. we play the high line because (apart from dawson, though he's not exactly a slouch)our defenders are quick off the mark. BAE, walkers and naughtons positioning is poor at times but they have the pace to get back in front or lloris will race out and essentially act as sweeper.

i'd rotate kaboul, dawson and caulker with vert being a constant feature. if i'm honest, i'd replace BAE and walker and recall rose.

biggest problem we have now is no wingers. i can see things being a bit of a mess on sunday :(

Rose had a good start at Sunderland but has been CRAP of late. Id rather have a confident BAE over Rose/Naughton. The fact BAE isnt playing is why he is lacking.

The Club can confirm that Gareth Bale (sprained ankle ligaments), William Gallas (calf strain) and Aaron Lennon (soft tissue contusion below the knee) all underwent scans today (Friday) after being forced off with injuries during our Europa League Quarter Final First Leg draw with Basel last night.

The results of these scans have indicated that all three players are expected to return to training within two weeks.

Bale, Gallas and Lennon have all commenced their treatment today and are responding positively.
