Similar tonight actually, The amount of chances he missed was just...

Zero composure infront of goal, It's like he's totally forgotten how to get the ball in the back of the net.

Extremely selfish.
 
What an awesome result for Arsenal...love how they play football and hoping that this season we can finally pull in a trophy or 2.

Chamakh is simply superb...what a buy Wenger...someone who can head the ball into the goal and has some physical presence...Bender can stay on the bench for all i care:p.

Nice brilliant result there for us....6 goals in all:D:D

Surely if someone was selfish tonight it was Di Maria. Yes Ronaldo had a few shots he could have passed, but he also passed when he should have carried on.

Not sure whats happened to Ronaldo, he seems to have just become literally a left winger who just passes/crosses. Hopefully he finds his form again, its painful to watch he had NO luck on his side tonight!
 
ahh Ozil, well im glad we pitched for bebe instead, who i hear doesnt make the resrve team. still its tough to draw in a player if he wants the real deal i guess.

Give him time to adapt, he's played like 3 friendly games at this level. He's just moved from another country. He's lost his hair. It's got to be quite a culture shock for him
 
hope so like i said but i was speaking to a mate, who has this mate right, who reads a lot on the internetz (convoluted i know but bear with me) and he's saying that bebe doesnt even make the reserve games because he isnt good enough?

he made the champs league squad (theres the tenous link for this champs league thread) but no one sees him. apparently he could be another botch job.
 
It's funny actually, Chamakh must be making an great impression because Bendtner hasn't even got a mention from DM, when he was one of the best strikers/forwards in the Premiership who just didn't get a chance last season :p

Mind you, it gives Arsenal an interesting option against teams that park the bus if you can throw Bendtner and Chamakh up front and bang some crosses in, be interesting to see whether that gets used this season.

With Diaby, Vermalen and Koscienly we have five pretty good headers of the ball.

Im glad Chamakh is doing rather well...id rather have him on the field than Bender as i feel Chamakh has more to his game than Bender could ever have...at least Chamakh has a nice first touch whereas Bender cant control the ball lol.

I just hope the lad doesnt get injured but i reckon its only a matter of time before he does:(.

He has to get fit first, and I doubt that will be this side of Christmas.

I actually agree with you here although this is only based on the first half because I didn't watch the second. Song couldn't string a pass together at all and his long balls were dreadful. If it wasn't for Song Arsenals possesion would have been through the roof.
He did make some fairly important challenges in the first half to break up Braga's attacks but they weren't clean and I was suprised he didnt get a yellow.
 
I do love how DM manages to **** off Song (Who had a good enough game) and Walcott, who has 4 goals in 3 appearances.

I wonder why he can't actually support the team and the manager when they do something well, like almost every supporter in the world? Though, his post's are funny to read.

PS: Eboue should have started. ;)

Well I would have had him at right back to be honest. I hope Wenger gives Arshavin a rest at the weekend and starts with Vela on the left, want to see how he does.

A right back and a keeper would have really made the transfer window special. Was seriously hoping for a double swoop for Steklenberg and Van der Wiel.
 
I'd say RB is one of Arsenal's strongest positions, Sagna and Eboue are amazing options, one great in defence the other great in attack
