UEFA Champions League/Europa League 2010/11 Matchday 4 *** Spoilers ***

whats wrong with 4-5-1? i thought u said berbatov can do it up front on his own?
He could, but it generally helps if you bothered to put anyone vaguely
  • skilful
  • creative
  • fast
  • interesting in any way whatsoever
in midfield, never mind actually playing Berbatov, as opposed to Federico "If a tree falls in the forest and it never manages to pass the ball to me, am I still crap?" Macheda.

This is our travelling squad:

Utd: vdS, Amos, Kusz; Evra, Wes Vida, Small, Rafa, Fabio, O'Shea; Eikrem, Scholes, Obertan, Bebe, Fletch, Carrick, Park, Nani; Berba, Chicha

I'd say from the fact we've taken two strikers, we are going to be playing 4-5-1, and bring on another around 70ish minute probably.

I don't expect Obertan or Bebe to start either, nor Hernandez.

Although we could line up with Nani playing just behind Berbatov with Fletcher and Park down the flanks.

in midfield,

name one apart from Nani? oh yea, we dont have any, lolzor.

thing is we have wolves at home next match which is a must win. then city midweek to cloud the water a little. id settle for a draw tonight and a win on weekend and next week.

Damn, I almost thought I'd managed to get you to defend Ferguson.

I'm not saying it's not an effective tactic for winning your CL games, I'm just saying that it takes a lot of booze to numb the pain for a neutral.

Also, do you just copy and paste your quotes directly? You weirdo.

I've got;

Man U, Valencia, Barca, Real @ 6.5/1.

Shame Valencia will let you down ;)

Looking forward to tonight game against Valencia, if we perform anywhere near like we did at Ibrox then we certainly have a good chance of getting a draw or even sneaking a win out there tonight :)

Valencia love to counter teams and didn't know how to handle the 5-4-1 formation we employed due to the fact we then hit them on the counter.

Must not lose tonight for Rangers to give ourselves a decent crack with 2 games left of qualifying for the last 16.

Quick question:

Going to WHL tonight. Worth driving or taking a train? I hear traffic getting away after is murder, but i may need to drop my mate to the otherside of london due to tube strikes :(

Man U, Valencia, Barca, Inter, Chelsea sound good?

10.05/1

Those are cracking odds you got on 3 teams btw.

5 teams is pushing it. Chelsea are pretty much through and Moscow need to win so I wouldn't bet on Chelsea.

United barely beat Bursa at home so God knows how they're going to fare away.

Personally I'd scrap united and Chelsea :)

Tonights Man U game better not be a bore. I watched the last game and missed the inter/spurs game which will go down as one of the best games this year.
