UEFA Champions League/Europa League 2010/11 Matchday 4 *** Spoilers ***

Always knew there was going to be trouble with Napoli and their thug like Ultra group :(

On top of stabbing Pool fans last time, they now come over here and try exactly the same thing.
Know 1 person who has been stabbed, they also smashed up two local pubs and started a riot with police even into the early hours.
Numerous women had to be treated for wounds after being battered by the Italian 'fans', and they infiltrated the home ends. I know Five were like "no trouble inside the ground" but a small group of them (~70 or so) with home end tickets who got moved once already inside to an isolated area of the main stand were pelting missiles at the pool fans in that area for the entire game, which sucks as most the fans there are just day-trippers tbh :(

Vile, vile people. They deserve to be kicked out of Europe as quickly as they re-appeared on the european stage, but we all know "Mr Anti-EPL" at the top of UEFA will find some way to blame Liverpool for this.

-edit-
One of their players, the guy who should have had a straight red for his "tackle" on Ngog, even smashed up the away dressing room after the game ended.. nice people this Napoli lot

Laugh at city if you dare, they are the club any team could wish to be, time and money the only Arab team in the EPL money to burn, literally.

Roman spent how much and has won 8 major trophies in 7 years, City are adjusting, tbh they need a new manager, Chelase have been through 4 managers in 7 years.

Man City have spent more than Chelsea. * net that is which isn't always the best indicator (got to say that after all the ferguson benitez net spend debates).

Oh and did Biz.Kid honestly just say he can't see how they could have got better players for the money they spent?

Oh dear or dear :( I was going to say before the match started as we only needed a win to progress the very last thing we'd pull off was a win.

Boyatas confidence is now going to be shot to ****, after a brilliant game against Chelsea the next he played in he makes a big mistake, and now this chance to redeem himself and he makes 2 critical errors both resulting in goals. Shay Given probably isn't going to be feeling much like wanting a first team place now either.

Still well placed in the group to progress. Though I'm now not feeling nearly half as confident about the derby as I was.

:D

Milner - 25 Million

Ozil - 18 Million :p

No what are you on about they couldn't of gotten more value for money haha!

That third goal was a fantastic strike.

Mancini out?

I mean Hughes was doing better at this stage last season wasn't he? Mancini has come in, spent money and achieved nothing but disrupting the harmony of the club.

I'm no totally defending biz, but there is a difference between being able to afford a player and being able to attract said player.

In part I agree, but where is the harm in asking?

Masch - 18 Million
Toure - 30 odd Million

I'm not saying Masch would have moved to City, but come on, City didn't spend well nor get value for money, they've bought in players who are after money and now seem surprised they aren't winning everything?

How do you keep so many ego's and the ego of the manager happy?

I cant think of anyone else avaliable at the time and would want to come to the club. We had to pay so much for players because of our owners wealth no other reason.
Lets take Ozil as an example. Madrid wanted him and where was he going to go?
Would like to see the players that WOULD come to our club that you lot on here think we should have got instead of players such as Silva,Johnson,Boateng,Kolarov,Balotelli.

What about the other average players you bought that you could have done better with? :p

Or are we ignoring them? :D

Lescott, Milner, Bridge et al ;)

Lescott is possibly the most overrated player I have seen. A defender that cannot defend, I am actually confused as to how he's in the Premier League.

I try to ignore them :(...Lescott and Milner arent bad players but they just cost so much so they appear bad if that makes sense :p

Lescott was made to look good by Jags at Everton. Jags is a decent player (hard to say that considering he's one of them :()

Milner / Barry most over rated players. Along with SWP and Bridge, wouldn't get a look in if they weren't English imo and would have being half the price.

He's an absolutely fantastic player!

Absolutely no bias from me. :D
