Di Maria would have been fine if LvG wasn't the manager. He started really well and was dropped because he didn't fit into LvGs **** brand of football and then he just gave up. Falcao was just straight up ****.

Thing is, he's not like playing for Sutton and getting £50 an appearance, or £200 a week in league 2, or £750 a week in league 1, or £1250 a week in the championship, nor £10k a week with Burnley, or £50k a week for Everton, he's getting like 100-150k a week range for a top four team.

He had a horrible knee injury, he needed enough games to both get his form back after ages out and he needed to become confident in his knee again. Utd wanted a guy who would play brilliantly instantly and never said hey, you're getting 30 games, we believe in you, just go out there and play till your form comes back, it was stupid for Utd to bring him in knowing he could need a long run to get back to form but being unable to offer it. Chelsea doing the same after confirming he wasn't going to be back to form without a run was beyond stupid. Not surprisingly back at Monaco with a good run of games and the belief he needed, he got back to form.
 
Fair play

This has been an incredible game. So many goals in so many of the CL ties.
