I thought I was stupid going out in the cold and rain with the flu to play football instead of staying in bed and watching the game. Kind of glad I did now. :(

A striker wouldn't have stopped us conceding 3 goals. There are clearly other problems to be addressed.

true but if we'd have put our chances away, the game would have taken a different path! so frustrating. defoe has really lost the venom from his shot, pav often seems in lala land and crouch, well if it wasn't for his cl goal last week i'd never want him to put a spurs shirt on again. we should be scouring the foreign leagues for a ruthless striker who can bang them in the net for fun!
 
As a follower of Liverpool I would have to say that was a perfect result for me tonight by Blackpool, now if we can beat West Ham and Man Utd are kind enough to slap Chelsea next week it will be a perfect end of the month for me :)
 
Bassong has a lot to answer for giving away a school boy penalty. If only we had more than 2 right backs...OH WAIT WE HAVE 2 RIGHT BACKS WE PAID £8M FOR OUT ON LOAN... :mad:

no not a big name, a striker who can come in and have no fear of the premiership. our current strikers are very average this season. defoe needs sending off to boot camp or something.

Not sure where you're getting that number from? Spurs made a pre-tax loss of £6.5 million.
