What is it about Valencia that keeps getting him games over anyone. Seriously, id put fletcher there over him at the moment.
 
Valencia picked up the rebound there, a metre and a half ahead of the defender, somehow the defender caught up immediately and Valencia just gave it to him :(
 
Valencias only talent has been his pace. He hits it past people and runs onto it. Now he just doesn't bother or is so slow off the mark that its pointless. Watching the arsenal game yesterday makes me realise just how poor most of our basic skills are and how little structure and style we have.

Caught him in the shoulder a bit but was clearly moving away from Chico(the nani one the two players are going towards each other), he also made a massive meal of nothing. Players kicked in faces rarely roll about quite like that, considering he was lying about being kicked in the face, it was a genuine attempt for the ball and there was little in it, lucky to get a free kick.

THere are only so many games you can do the same thing against mostly the same teams before they all know exactly what you are going to do. Extremely predictable or highly limited players can have a bit of success here and there but long term everyone knows how to play against him.
