Both teams playing very high lines so the game is compressed and frantic. We need some runners into the space
 
Lennon fluffs a 1 on 1. Great flick from Eriksen to get him in.

This is a good match up. The Moldovan team look up for it.
 
Adebayor needs to come on.

Lamela looks like the price tag is weighing heavy. He has no confidence and is doing sweet f.a. that is not to say I think he is already a flop, just struggling to perform.
 
I was thinking the same, he just does nothing, no little bit of skill or anything, you'd think he was a youngster coming through the ranks at Spurs. 30m...wowzer.

Let's hope he's a late bloomer :p

I hope so!

If not, I think we are up on capoue, Paulinho, Eriksen and holtby though. Soldado and Lamela look overpriced but the other signing represent good value.
 
It's one of those things, throw him in at the deep end, or protect him but that also adds pressure. I do think given the fee and how well he had been playing last year that 4 league sub appearances without much time is a poor way to get the best out of him.

I don't think there is any hate for Lamela, just observation that he was probably one of the worst players in the Spurs team.

I fully expect him to acclimatise slowly, but as of right now, you can see there are real confidence issues with how he is playing. He doesn't want the ball, he doesn't move much and he doesn't shoot when in the right position.
 
Not on here much but definitely on Twitter from some Spurs fans as well. Annoys me. I do agree he isn't showing much desire. Europa League is where he should be giving his all to impress for the Premier League.
 
Holtby is getting better and better. He was a lot like Lamela last year abd struggled to do anything, but he is my player of the season thus far for Spurs.

I love watching him play.
