Will Arsenal have anyone returning from injury in time for this game? I know quite a few of their main players have been missing recently.

Oh dear we have to do what we do worst and that is defend. Hopefully with our goal lead we can sit back and then hit them on the break. Going to be a nervous 90 minutes for all Gunners.

I think RVP will be back from suspension, as would Nasri be but he'll probably have left the club by then. My main worry isn't so much the defence, which is as bad as ever, but the fact that without Wilshere we look devoid of creativity or attacking threat. That we managed to win 1-0 in the first leg is more to do with luck and Ramsey providing one good pass in the game. I just don't see how we're going to score and not concede with the options we have available.

I'm pretty confident about the Udinese match, 1-0 from the first leg is a good result as denying them an away goal heaps the pressure on the opposition. Barring penalties the only way they can knock us out is by winning by 2 clear goals, and I'd fancy Arsenal strongly to progress.

Basically the team should be the same as played vs Liverpool, except with Song replacing Koscielny (assuming he's unfit and no other defenders have returned from injury in time) and Gervinho replacing Nasri (assuming he doesn't want to be cup-tied). Quite an aggresive formation (fielding RvP, Arshavin, Walcott and Gervinho) but once we've got an away goal we can look to shore things up in the second half by bringing on Miquel etc.

Obviously I've based the above on the assumption that none of Koscielny, Gibbs, Traore, Djourou, Squillaci, Eastmond, Rosicky and Diaby will be fit in time, if any of them were to be available then we could put one of the forwards on the bench.

I expect us to win even after todays loss against liverpool...gotta be optimistic i suppose.

Gonna be a 90mins of squeaky bum time for us...if we get knocked out i cant see anyone decent signing for us lol

Rosicky was only rested for the Liverpool game!

Wilshere could be back, as too could Djourou

If Wilshere plays I'd feel much better about the team creating a goal scoring chance or two, although being essentially down to a single teenager to rely on our main creative threat down the middle is rather depressing.

Banned for two matches? What a joke. My understanding is that they consulted UEFA before the game and it was understood that third parties could speak to the bench. UEFA then moaned at half time so no messages were passed in the second half. So basically a two match ban for a misunderstanding.

If they're banned from a game then they should ban them from the stadium. Yes, Wenger was being pretty blatant about it but he could have just as easily done it sneakily and UEFA would never have known. Short of locking them in a lead-lined room, they'll never stop communication from manager to bench.

not to mention other managers have done the same thing and dont get banned , something is wrong here!
