I am hopeful we can go to Bayern and turn it on but i am expecting a real defensive setup with counter attacking in mind. Have to be very wary of being caught on counter though so Richards and Clichy will have to step in to keep up with Ribery/Gomez/Schweni/Kroos.

But who knows. We have a great team now and we are capable of going there and getting the 3 points.

Either way it will be a great game for the neutral i think.

I almost guarantee that Ribery will done absolutely nothing in the 90 minutes and if Robben doesn't play nor will Bayern. Would be a good game to watch I guess, I'll be otherwise occupied watching our second team hammer Basel though

Robben is injured IIRC, such a shame. Could easily be up there with Messi and Ronaldo had injuries not held him back.

Our game with Valencia will be a tight one. They've just managed a 2-2 draw with Barca at home and are second in La Liga.

Nailed on draw that one IMO, although we played Valencia last season and they were pretty useless and that was when they had Mata as well.

Valencia v Chelsea

Going to be a balls to the walls game for Chelsea with the form Valencia are in.

I think Valencia may very well nail their balls to the walls...id love to see that just to hear Gustov's wailing and crying about how they were cheated etc etc blah blah...u get the gist:p

Not holding out too much hope of us winning against Olympiakos...on paper it looks like an easy tie but with the form we have been in....i aint taking anything for granted tbh.

This season Bayern have played 11 games in all competitions. They've won 10, lost 1, and have scored 29 goals whilst conceding 1. Ribery, Robben or not, they're in about as good form as you can possibly be.

No Rooney. :(

Time for Berba to shine... and he hasn't scored in the CL in years. Could well be Chico/Welbeck or Chico/Owen up front. Without Rooney, the team loses its flair. Almost looks weak without him.

Should be an easy match tonight but the players out might make it more tricky.

Berbatov has to play, don't think a Welbeck/Owen partnership would work.
