UEFA Champions League/Europa League 27/28/29 September *** Spoilers ***

I'd be tempted by this. Depends on their ffp position though.
We won't do that. We will just ban him from the club. No point putting him in the reserves.

Just ban him and pay him out till Jan where i pray Boca/Corinthians come back. Then we can move forward with just Balotelli in the papers :D

Indeed, though I presume not having to pay him would certainly work in our favour :D I'm not entirely sure it's enough to just let him go now. He's chosen a huge stage to make a big fuss and cause a storm, he knew what he was doing, and he needs to be made an example of.

This would never happen. Tevez has just made himself worth the sum total of **** all. We have 3 years of his contract remaining, no-one will buy him, we make him sit it all out or he can buy it out. He deserves no more special treatment, especially a free transfer to Corinthians.

I am not saying we let him go for free. I am saying just pay his wages until Jan and then Boca etc hopefully come back with the mega tv deal money.

We should just pay him to stay away. Put him in the reserves to limit another player is just stupid.

Plane to Argentina where he can sign a pre contract or whatever so he is gone Jan 1st.

How much has he knocked off his value now though?
Well to everyone in Europe he is worth nothing. In South America though he will play his heart out because he is "near his family". So to Boca/Corinthians they are getting a truly world class football player (he is).

Anywhere near 25-30m i think.

Rumours now apparently Zabaleta punched Tevez in the tunnel . This is all we need true or not.

Dzeko on the bench or not even for the Blackburn game after his outburst according to Mancini.

Aguero and Balo up front then.

To a European club, everything. To Corinthians where he doesn't have the family excuse, and where they may feel in the best position to actually keep hold of him (if any club after City could be that daft), it's entirely dependant on how hard City want to play ball. The worst thing for them to do is sign off on a contract pay-up value move to Corinthians only for him to pop back up in Europe in the next transfer window. Again, god knows why anyone would want to buy a player who has precedent for not playing when asked, but you never know.

I've absolutely no idea who is now stupid enough to hand over money for a player who won't play. If this is the work of Kia he's an idiot, if it's the work of Tevez he's an idiot. They're both idiots, and they've screwed his career.

I didn't think I could love that man any more until I read that :D

Normal service for Blackburn please. Balo to grab a couple and Nasri to grab his first.

well it's official the guy has a really bad attitude problem and i doubt it will ever change. it's a shame he will now be remembered for being a **** rather than how good he was at the game.

city need to start fining him, other clubs do it all the time when a player steps out of line.

no idea why he is on the bench in the first place if they dont want to start him and give him regular games, get rid of him, its the same situation with berbatov, man utd should sell him, by benching him they are only making matters worse.

lulz Tevez has been nothing but bad news since he came to England with his Agent, made a lot of money out of the EPL treats teams like crap, fans like crap.

Listening to Dennis Law today talking about when he played and the managers telling them to perform for the fans, the ones that pay your wages and they want to be entertained (was the case back then)

Him and his agent can buy themselves out of his contract or let him rot and take his passport away. So he is stuck in England till his contact is up.

Mancini both wants rid of Tevez, and wants to cup tie him so no club in Europe would buy him, Tevez was stupid, Mancini was stupid, it shouldn't take away from what mancini got wrong or why City lost though.

Assuming its one of Inter, or a small number of other euro clubs that want him, at 25mil + being cup tied in the champs league is bad whichever way you look at it.

Some of the reactions are daft, Hughes was defending Tevez, he said he didn't know what had gone on, he defended his substitutions in that no one knew the actual situation.

The timing still seems way off to me, Mancini put on De Jong and planned to put Tevez on 5 minutes later, yet Tevez hadn't warmed up and had apparently refused to at that point, unless its an emergency you don't warm up for a couple minutes then come on. Surely the trouble had to have been seen coming well before subbing Dzeko off.

The whole situation is rather daft, Tevez is more trouble than he's worth, so do your best to get rid of him, cup tieing him in the champs league is the single last thing you'd ever want to do when trying to get rid of him surely?

Then again City are absolute idiots, he said he wanted to leave, tried to leave, so City gave him a huge pay increase when just about everyone else on earth thought it was ridiculous. You don't actually stop the player wanting to leave, you just make it far harder for other clubs to match his wages.

In terms of management, is there a single player Kia the idiot is involved in who doesn't get himself into some kind of trouble like this? Who in their right mind would want him as a manager or get involved with the guy.

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has denied refusing to play against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Tevez angered manager Roberto Mancini by appearing to refuse to leave the bench during the second half.

Mancini claimed the Argentine would never play for him at City again, but Tevez has responded by saying he has "always given my best".

Tevez added: "There was some confusion on the bench and I believe my position may have been misunderstood."

Oh really?

Oh really?

M: "You're on"
T: "No"
Shakes head
T: "No"

a few hours later.......................

T: "Oh, Oh Roberto don't you know I'm human
Have thoughts like any other one
Sometimes I find myself long regretting
Some foolish thing some little simple thing I've done
But I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood"

Yes really. :D

Oh really?

Next we'll be hearing he's hired Max Clifford to sort his PR :D Spoken like a man who realises (as I said last night) that coming out and saying anything immediately was the wrong thing to do, and is now potentially looking down both barrels of a very serious breach of contract dispute. Said he wasn't in the right place to play, now he's coming out this morning saying he was misunderstood and didn't refuse to play. At the rate he's going City won't have to do anything else to ruin his career, he's managing it all on his own.
