UEFA Champions League/Europa League 27/28/29 September *** Spoilers ***

Really sloppy defending from Man Utd last night, I have to say Evra is getting worse, his general awareness of opposition players around him is poor. Thankfully a point is a point, I wouldn't have begrudged Basel 3 points at all had they won.

Regarding Tevez, I called this before Utd had even got rid of him. He's a typical mercenary player with loyalty to no one. He had spoken time and time again of his desire to move back to Argentina to finish his career after his 'next' contract. Who would sign a player who has stated this time and time again? I'm glad Utd didn't, why sign a player who wants to see out his (3yr) contract and leave for free? Man City got him and I have no sympathy at all for the club. If Tevez had stayed at Utd he'd be pulling the exact same crap right now too.

I have to say I think Evra is very aware of the player around him, he just CBA to run anywhere that isn't forwards and its going to cost us dear if he doesn't snap out of it soon. If we had anyone else fit I wonder if he would have been swapped out yet. Just before that cross was whipped in I was sitting there saying "why isn't he closing him down, why isn't he making him work for the chance to cross" and then they bloody scored. I can't imagine that fergy would have been happy with that.

Poor Danny Welbeck looked like he was about to cry in the post match interview too!

And I also have to add that only Man City and Tevez could get the press to give a just 10th of the usual coverage to United nearly losing at home to what is a small team.

Stay classy Carlos.

I cant see a team in Europe buying him not at £25m+, no team in South America can afford him.

With the amount of money City have been splashing around and overpaying etc why not just offload him for 15m and take a slight hit?

I agree with what Souness said Tevez will be talking to other players and poisoning the squad, they need to get rid.

Just because Nev is pro United doesn't mean his commentating is. First time I've heard him last night and I thought he was excellent, was unbiased and interesting.

I agree that Nev is turning out to be a great pundit.

He understands the game way better than another pundit at the moment because he has just stopped playing at the top level.

Better yet can't City claim breach of contract and sue him?
There really would be no point. Spending money on lawyers, huge media spotlight etc.

We just ban him from the club, disable all ties to the club through his agent and tell him he has to leave in January.

Sheikh Mansour apparently flying to Manchester today also to deal with the situation personally rather than over the phone/skype etc. **** just got real :p

Well to everyone in Europe he is worth nothing. In South America though he will play his heart out because he is "near his family". So to Boca/Corinthians they are getting a truly world class football player (he is).

To a European club, everything. To Corinthians where he doesn't have the family excuse, and where they may feel in the best position to actually keep hold of him (if any club after City could be that daft), it's entirely dependant on how hard City want to play ball.

Are you two the same poster or copying the same source? :p Near identical posts within 5 minutes.

I didn't use a source, just from what i know/hope/expect.

Just heard that a well known plane spotter :D from Stoke  saw the City plane fly over today. Now that could have been Sheikh!!!!:eek::eek: :D

Tevez has now come out and said that he would have come on as he had warmed up but Mancini didn't let him.
Tevez of course now wanting to come out like the victim :(

Wouldn't that give him grounds to sue as part of a constructive dismissal?

You can't force someone to work, if i phone in ill the employers can't sack me for it. if i don't want to attend a meeting because im tired or have a headache what can my employer do? Not much. These are people with eu human rights.

Enough with the stupid Tevez and City aka abu dhabi utd talk...that shizz is boring now and tbh no sympathy for City or Mancini as they only brought this on themselves when buying the little weasel from Utd...lolworthy stuff from City as per usual...just waiting for that other little **** Balotelli to do something equally as stupid lol.

Arsenal have 8 regulars out so another makeshift team we put out lol...not expecting us to win but lucky if we get a draw...thank god im out tonight so i dont have to watch the tripe that Wenger puts out.

Barca will batter FC Bate methinks tonight.

Chelsea playing 4-3-3: Cech, Bosingwa, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Mikel, Lampard, Mata, Torres, Malouda.

Subs: Turnbull, Ivanovic, Romeu, Meireles, Kalou, Anelka, Drogba.
