Modric has been the best on the pitch for me.

It is great to see the Spurs alumni teaching Guardiola how to play great football.
This isn't quite as satisfying as watching Bayern do this to Barcelona but its getting there.
Is Ribery the most overrated player in the world? He's been atrocious whenever I've watched him.
It's equally satisfying for me. Guardiola is incredibly up himself about the football he plays. Hopefully this happening two years running might make him take a step back.

I was unaware he managed that Barca team
Don't say that around here. Andy will have your head
(Or is it Gilly? One of them loves him!)
It's a crying shame that they never done it when they were still at Spurs though
Not me! I haven't seen anything more than averageness from him.
Oh yeah...good point.
Awkward.
the team is playing the way it is as a result of Guardiola though, it's completely his style and tactics. The team seems utterly entrenched in the tactics. New guy said he wanted them to be more direct but just can't seem to achieve it. Too many players with the same mentality and style. I certainly think Fabregas moves the ball faster and plays a lot more balls over the top and throughballs and he missed most of the Guardiola era... coincidence?
