Really woeful performance by Bayern, worst thing about it was after deserving to lose the first leg 3-0 at least.... he changed absolutely nothing for the second leg. At half time they sat deeper, had more shots on target, looked more dangerous(but not much) and Real had less chances.

It's funny because Guardiola had been banging on in the past couple months about lacking a plan B at Barcelona and working all year on having another plan at Bayern.... yet he didn't have one. Sitting high up the pitch with CB's in your own half passing it back and forward and getting angry if your players try something different. Horrendous tactics, a 10 yr old could see when and who that style of play would fail completely.

Guardiola deserved that, last years best CL team didn't.... Ribery maybe did for his pathetic Ballon d'or sulking.

I hope Chelsea win tomorrow. I really dislike CL games when teams from the same league have to play each other, never feels like it has the same sense of occasion, plus it'd be lulz to see Jose get murked by the players he was managing last season.

And I dislike games where teams park the bus, which Chelsea will do. No thanks.

He won't be, he's not stupid enough to attack them.

Then who's going to attack if both teams sit back? It will be counter-attack or attacking game let's hope it is the latter otherwise it might be dragged on into ET and then penalties with both teams sitting back and making it the most boring final ever

Nobody. It'll be hideously dull and won through a moment of magic or a mistake, or on penalties.

Hopefully Atletico will win tomorrow.

What's football come to eh. No longer a form of entertainment but about winning the trophies whether it is ugly or not. I don't think any team is worthy of a trophy playing the way Chelsea does. Just isn't right compared to a proper game of football where you feel the team deserves it.

It's difficult - I agree with you on the one hand. I'd rather watch a team like Dortmund or Atletico, than Barca or this Bayern side.

On the other hand, when it's done well this sort of football still requires skill and nouse, just of a different sort. You can't argue that Madrid don't deserve tonight, despite sitting back - Guardiola accused them last week of playing anti-football, and they've done the same thing tonight.

But unlike Madrid Chelsea never seem to break at any kind of speed, just get rid of the ball. The only reason Chelsea got two against Liverpool was because of Gerrard's mistake. The second only came because Liverpool were pushing ridiculously high. I don't think anyone is saying Chelsea should play like Liverpool or City, just show some attacking intent if you're going defensive, not play like West Ham did against them.

Chelsea don't really do it through skill.

The first teams that really used 4-5-1 did so for a simple reason. Their midfield wasn't good enough, it was about putting more less good players in there to compete with less but better players.

A great defence should be able to defend.... without needing to drop inside their box and have the entire team dedicated to it.

There was a time where the back 4 and defensive midfielder were focused on defence, and kept out the best teams in the world if they played well enough, two brilliant midfielders could dominate a game without needing 3 extra players sitting around them to help.

If chelsea put in that defensive performance against Liverpool playing relatively normally while attacking loads it would have been brilliant. Dropping deep and narrow and using 10 players to defend isn't for me brilliant defending, it's just a numbers game.

Atletico can somehow defend brilliantly against the likes of Real without sacrificing their offence. I remember when teams just had great players, who didn't need extreme tactics to perform their jobs, be it offence of defence.

Dont want Chelsea in the final despite this, would be an incredibly borimg game

Real Madrid never got out of 1st gear second half, didn't close down as much and still looked comfortable.

Guardiola might be available to go to United in the summer, they've gone backwards since last season.

Glad Bayern got smashed. Sick of Pep being treat like the second coming of Christ and his teams dull passing.

Hopefully he will buck up and play some football now.
