UEFA Champions League/Europa League 29/30 April 01 May *** Spoilers ***

This is tough for me, I want English teams to do well in Europe.

At the same time, I admire Simeone and Athletico drastically for what they've done this season, and the idea of Mourinho with another Champions League victory makes me cringe.

Guess I'm going to try and stay neutral.

Its my opinion based on how they played, you don't have to agree or even hurt yourself thinking about it if you choose

they played a blinder. they contained you, drew you out, patiently. you buckled under the pressure. they didn't.

simplez.

the pressuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure.

They won 2-0. Both goals are scored by Chelsea players (not own goals).

They played to win, they won. Playing to win doesn't mean you have to play with 5 up front. There is no rule it says you have to have so much % possession or so many shots at goal to be call "play to win. They may not play attacking football for 90minutes but like i said, you played to your strengths.

All of that is irrelevant. Chelsea played anti, negative football. Got hugely fortunate and scored directly as the result of two mistakes. Chelsea offered absolutely nothing going forward against Madrid in the first leg, Liverpool the same.

Funny you don't support Chelsea however you only post in here when they're playing or have won something! It's like another Gustov.

:D

Complains when their team leave only two slow defenders at the back and lose - check

Refuse to back a manager to the hilt despite working absolute miracles - check

Refuse to acknowledge they have spent millions themselves for pretty dire return - check

I think I smell a (certain kind of ) Liverpool supporter
