I don't like to see teams "parking the bus" but I understand why it happens.

One that particularly sticks for me was Man U vs Leeds, FA Cup 3rd Round. But I can see why Leeds set up to play like that.

I'd expect my team to be reaching the semis ****ing 100s of millions per year to be honest, you can still play an entertaining game and do it (under Hiddink comes to mind) against the best of sides.

Atletico aren't throwing everyone forward, which is smart. If they took the 'Liverpool approach' they'd be leaving themselves open to the counter.

No great chances to counter at the moment for Chelsea. Very finely balanced.

My problem is that Chelsea have not played to win, they have played to not lose and have showed no ambition of attacking teams.

I had no idea you even posted in the football stadium.

They won 2-0. Both goals are scored by Chelsea players (not own goals).

They played to win, they won. Playing to win doesn't mean you have to play with 5 up front. There is no rule it says you have to have so much % possession or so many shots at goal to be call "play to win. They may not play attacking football for 90minutes but like i said, you played to your strengths.

Except they are playing against completely different tactics to the ones Liverpool faced, if Chelsea were playing the same way as at Anfield Atleti would have no worries.

Indeed, I wouldn't say Chelsea have got a parked bus either, both teams just very cautious.
