What will Barcelona do when Messi retires. Liverpool haven't been clinical enough but have been the better team for the majority. Messi is like a get out of jail free card for them. Carrys their whole team.
 
Liverpool massively underperformed tonight. This is not the Liverpool team that has battered teams all season.

Very very nervous performance.
 
Mane has had chance he should have buried as did Milner and salah we could have got goals just not remotely clinical tonight.

Its cost us the tie as not a chance they won't score at anfield
 
Garbage quality in front of goal is what has cost Liverpool tonight, Mane, Milner, Salah could have made this a 3-3 result. Barcelona's second goal was lucky but apart from that they've been top quality in front of goal.

This is Barcelona we are talking about. Keeping possession 50/50 at camp nou is an achievement in itself.

Liverpool need to nick an away goal to stand any chance though.
 
Thats that really, may as well play the second string for the 2nd leg , not coming back from 3-0.

Gomez was a massive mistake, you dont give someone their first start of the year, in a semi final against Barca in the Nou Camp. TAA should have started and yet again, for the umpteenth time Klopp leaves his subs far too late.

Thats it for the CL run for this season though, all that we can hope for now is a city slip. If not, its back to the drawing board in the summer and a dire need for a creative player in the middle of the park and we go again next season.
