Im still hoping for Carrick , Cleverley and Rooney as a midfield 3 on Sunday with three strikers ahead of them in a 4 -3- 3
If Scholes gets anywhere near the starting line up at the weekend, we might as well just hand over the 3 points now
edit given that Chircharito, Cleverley and Welbeck havent played that much recently, I dont see two back to back games in 4 days being that much of a problem
Not necessarily as long as he's got plenty of support in midfield and not the likes of Giggs I think Scholes could be a key to us getting any sort of result on Sunday

For whatever reason, it IS more difficult
The odds on the draw in the Shakhtar game are 10/11, unheard of for the CL. Mind you, a draw suits them both and rumour has it one or two Italian teams aren't the most honest of people

Not sure, just one of those things, an increased number of better teams does counter balance it a bit.
Barca could've had 2 in a row (last year), or perhaps 4 but fairly unlucky vs Inter but were cheating anyways so not hard to feel sympathy. Robbed by anti football and Drogba acting a nob last year

There are a lot of good teams in it now, but straight knock out is tougher. With all these teams as straight knockout, now that would be interesting

Also Inter parked the bus but what you did was the equivalent of stabbing my eyes it was that dull to watch.
