On the one hand he can come on fresh and maybe change the game...but on the other hand it could be too late by then :p

Tonight's not too bad, we're definitely the underdogs (despite the theoretical slight edge we have with the away goal) so I don't think many expect us to win.
 
I can understand Welbeck starting but not Giggs. While pretty disastrous at football Welbeck will work his ass off and close down defenders which will cause them to make errors and create space for his teammates. Giggs is the type of player you want to bring on to keep the ball when you're holding on to a lead so unless Fergie's playing for the 0-0 I can't understand his inclusion.
 
Welbeck ahead of rooney and Kagawa ... Insanity at its best.

The only way I can think he's playing this is that he's wanting a quiet first half, then bring them both on for the second to bring home the points with very fresh legs and talent.
